Don’t Fence Us In

Hard to see progress, but it grinds on.  When we decided to build our Quincho, we also decided to remodel the entire yard – to do everything at once.  So I might as well include some of the expanded scope for you to “marvel” at.  We have redone some fencing, ripped out the entire front yard and we are planning for a variety of flowers and plants all around the quincho.  We are adding an ornamental driveway gate (on a remote automatic opener), lots of landscape lighting and all new irrigation.  They are now done with the fences and they are building the gates that we will attach to them.

The completed arbor. Waiting for lighting and stucco and appliances, including the grill.

Fence posts and where the main gate into the back (where the quincho is) will go.

Alternating “Half” fences in the sideyard that hide the garbage cans and the air conditioner.

About The Quincho Project

Dedicated to the pursuit of all forms of live fire cooking and the thoughtful prose it evokes. Whether prodding at a dying fire, patiently waiting on a perfect steak or simply contemplating a thin blue curl of smoke - I am truly at peace.
